I had lived forty years of satisfied life. My family meant a lot to me. But then, one day I faced the most agonizing situation of my life. I was suffering from breast cancer. It took me months to realize the lurking truth behind this medical fact. I had heard about chemotherapy and I seriously dreaded it. 

I did not want to go through that ordeal. But there was no option. I had to take those heavy drugs that literally broke my strength. The cancer therapies were more jeopardizing. The constant body aches; the pounding weakness, the excess loss of hair and my fragile immune system posed challenging questions for me relating to my longevity.
